This piece was brought to life as a custom commission, drawing inspiration from the Shiro Kara Vintage “Uzumaki” model and reinterpreted through a more subdued, grey toned lens at the client’s request. The faded bezel insert sets the tone  quietly distinctive, with a worn elegance that feels both intentional and effortless.

Built around a classic Submariner-style case reminiscent of dive watches from the 1950s through the 1970s, it features a domed acrylic crystal and an oyster bracelet to anchor it firmly in that vintage lineage. Every component the case, bracelet, clasp, bezel insert, dial, and hands has been carefully hand-aged, not for effect alone, but to achieve a unified, authentic patina. The result is a watch that doesn’t just look aged, but carries the presence of something truly lived-in.

The SKV watches are all aged with hand crafted techniques and not machined making every piece unique to its own. While same effect and color can be achieved, no two watches will share identical aging characteristics not even watches of the same model.
