Commissioned Piece: Cook Master

In this version, the Cook Master features a date window paired with a new domed crystal with a Cyclops magnifier. The Cook Master is the first Shiro Kara timepiece to feature this crystal—and this specific watch is the very first to wear it. To be honest, my photos simply don’t do it justice. It is far more beautiful in person.

Like its predecessors, the Grey Cook, Grey Sky, and Cook, the Cook Master shares the same cohesive design language: a Sub-inspired dial, aged snowflake handset, and hand-aged bezel insert.

Every component is individually aged by hand, giving each watch its own unique character. The result is the appearance of a well-loved timepiece that has survived decades, carrying the stories of a lifetime.

Yet the very first wrist this watch will ever rest on will be that of its new owner, where its own story will finally begin.

While similar models can be recreated, no two Shiro Kara Vintage watches will ever be exactly alike. Due to the nature of the hand-aged patina process, every dial, bezel, and handset develops its own unique wear patterns and character, making each piece truly one of one.
