This dial holds a special place in my journey as a watchmaker. It was one of the very first dials I created my third dial, to be exact and now, it has finally come to life as a complete timepiece.

2/3 Shiro Kara Vintage Sapphire: Red Snake
(named in honor of 2025, the Year of the Snake)

Only three units of this timepiece in this dial format will ever exist. this specific watch photographed is the 2/3 as I have personally kept the first unit and add it to my collection. It may come as a surprise but I don't personally own a version of every SHIRO KARA timepiece that i make and a handful of them out there are 1 of 1 commissioned pieces. 

This version features the phrase "NANA KOROBI YAOKI" (七転び八起き) a classic Japanese proverb meaning: "Fall down seven times, get up eight."

For those familiar with the phrase, you might notice an intentional distinction—the first part is separated, rather than written as one continuous line when romanized. This design choice makes this edition even more unique, setting it apart from future versions, which will feature the phrase in its traditional, continuous form.

Design & Inspiration
This timepiece is a fusion of elements from the Rlx 1680 and 16610, blending vintage and modern influences seamlessly. It features:

• Sapphire crystal for durability
• Magnification cyclops for enhanced readability
• A red "Sub" line for that classic vintage appeal
• Applied markers to bring depth and refinement

The result is a watch that bridges different eras, capturing the essence of timeless design while standing out. This have become one of my personal favorites to date.
