Commissioned Piece: SKVS “KAMITTO”

The KAMITTO is the second watch model I ever created, designed in 2023 shortly after the 369 Vintage Sub, with both watches actually crafted on the same day.

Inspired by the legendary “Kermit” Submariner, the KAMITTO features the highly sought-after “Bertolli” green aluminum bezel insert—a shade famously associated with early 16610LV models from 2003–2004 and intentionally chosen for this watch.

Its deep black dial, bold luminous markers, Cyclops date window, and 40mm brushed case combine classic dive-watch functionality with timeless proportions. A screw-down crown and rugged construction further reinforce its tool-watch character.

The KAMITTO reflects an era when dive watches were tools first and style statements second. Blending neo-vintage inspiration with a distinctive splash of green, it remains one of the rarest watches ever produced by Shiro Kara Watch Co.
