It features a refined cursive “Automatic” script paired with hand-brushed calligraphic katakana, blending classic Western typography with traditional Japanese lettering to create a design that bridges both aesthetics.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor this commission, Jeff gave me a great deal of creative freedom and trusted me to take the design in my own direction. The watch features silver lightning hands paired with a classic Mercedes handset, while the entire piece—including the case and bracelet—has been carefully hand-aged to complement the deep patina found throughout the dial, hands, and bezel.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOverall, I’m very pleased with how this piece came together.
