The softened lume, weathered surfaces, faded tones, and subtle imperfections created by decades of wear are often what make an old watch feel truly special.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eExcept this one is virtually brand new.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIts appearance was intentionally created through an accelerated aging process, using a combination of my own hand-applied aging and patina techniques to recreate the character, texture, and warmth that vintage watches naturally develop over time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSHUSUI was created to capture that character from the very beginning.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe deep black dial is carefully distressed and textured, while the markers and hands are individually aged to develop the warm tones normally associated with decades of wear.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe goal isn’t to make a new watch look damaged. It’s to recreate the depth, warmth, and individuality that time naturally leaves behind, while starting with a completely new timepiece.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis watch was created as a commissioned piece, and the photos shown are of the exact watch its new owner will receive.
