The KAMITTO is the second watch model I ever created, designed back in 2023, right after I completed the 369 Vintage Sub both crafted on the same day. I recently had the pleasure of handling this timepiece and took the opportunity to re-brush, re-polish, change the crown to a "S" for Shiro signed crown and photograph it properly for inclusion in the official catalog.

Only two Shiro Kara Kamitto watches exist to date: this piece which was sold prior to the official website/store being launched and my personal one. The KAMITTO as its design and model name takes strong inspiration from the "Kermit" Submariner, particularly its signature green bezel.

It features the sought-after “Bertolli” green bezel insert named for its resemblance to the green found on Bertolli olive oil bottles  a hue most commonly seen on early Submariner 16610LV models from 2003 to 2004. Which I intentionally used for the KAMITTO

The KAMITTO is a striking dive watch known for its bold contrast between a deep black dial and a rich green aluminum bezel insert. The bezel features a classic 60-minute graduated scale, with a vivid green tone. Its dial layout includes luminous hour markers  a mix of circles, rectangles, and a triangle at 12 o’clock  paired with bold, luminescent hands for maximum legibility. At 3 o’clock, there’s a date window with a magnifying lens, enhancing visibility.

The case is 40mm, with sharp lines and brushed finishes on the lugs, giving it a utilitarian yet refined look. It features a screw-down crown, solid water resistance, and classic proportions that reflect the era when dive watches were tools first and style statements second.

Altogether, the KAMITTO blends rugged functionality with a splash of color, making it a modern icon rooted in vintage tradition.
