Commissioned Piece: Redsnake V1.2

The Redsnake was one of the most inquired-about models ever released by Shiro Kara Watch Co. The original version was first created in February 2025. Only three pieces were ever made, and after completing those watches, I made the decision not to recreate the original design. Since then, I have declined every request for a Redsnake remake.

Redsnake V1.2 was later created as a commissioned timepiece inspired by the original while introducing several intentional differences. Although it carries the same overall design language, it was designed to stand as its own model rather than serve as a reproduction.

Unlike the original, the V1.2 no longer features the Japanese proverb 七転び八起き (Nana Korobi Ya Oki), which means, "Fall seven times, rise eight" a saying that symbolizes resilience and perseverance. It also replaces the original lollipop seconds hand with a red-tipped arrow seconds hand, giving the watch its own distinct character.

These changes allowed me to accommodate requests for the Redsnake's aesthetic while preserving the exclusivity and limited production of the original three Redsnake watches.

And here it is—the Redsnake V1.2.

While similar models can be recreated, no two Shiro Kara Vintage watches will ever be exactly alike. Due to the nature of the hand-aged patina process, every dial, bezel, and handset develops its own unique wear patterns and character, making each piece truly one of one.
