Commissioned Piece – Shiro Kara Vintage (SKV): Samurai Mil 369

This is a slightly different take on one of Shiro Kara Watch Co.'s crowd favorites, the Samurai 369. It features the same dial and handset layout as the original, but with one key difference: the bezel insert. The Samurai Mil 369 is fitted with a vintage-inspired MilSub-style bezel, earning it its nickname.

That subtle change transforms the watch's overall character, giving it a more rugged, purposeful, toolwatch aesthetic.

The dial has been carefully hand-aged to create a unique patina that reveals different tones and sheens depending on the angle of the light. It is paired with a matching set of hand-aged sword hands and a lume-aged bezel insert.

The result is a cohesive vintage appearance that never feels overdone. Together, these elements give the watch a bold, commanding presence while maintaining the balanced proportions and timeless design language that define the Samurai collection.

Like every Shiro Kara watch, each piece is individually hand-aged, ensuring that no two watches are ever exactly alike. Every mark, fade, and variation is intentional, giving each timepiece its own distinct personality and story.
