The Uzumaki watch really embodies that rough and rugged aesthetic, and its owner(s) perfectly match this timepiece's aura.

As I created this watch, I kept coming back to the balance between its beautifully aged dial, distressed bezel, and striking orange lightning seconds hand. Each element complements the others perfectly, creating a vintage aesthetic that's both bold and cohesive. To complete the look, I paired them with a hand-patinated case and bracelet, giving the entire watch the character and warmth of a timepiece that has been worn and appreciated for decades.

The watch is inspired by the vintage dive watches made famous during the 1950s–70s, a time when striking colors were a defining feature. During this golden era of watchmaking, dive watches were crafted for both function and flair, with every color and design element carefully chosen for utility as well as style. That was the goal I had when crafting this timepiece. And of course, if you get the reference behind the name and the inspiration from its orange lightning seconds hand, you'll understand why I nicknamed this dive watch Uzumaki.

Each vintage-inspired Shiro Kara timepiece is handcrafted individually, one at a time, and the watch shown is the exact piece its owner will receive. While the same design may be commissioned again, no two watches will ever develop the same character. Due to the nature of my hand-aging techniques, every patina develops uniquely throughout the process, giving each watch its own personality and story. Every vintage Shiro Kara is truly one of one.
